I was wondering if anyone could give me a rundown on how a projectile model could be hacked to where it is displayed in the carrion swarm spell as above the ground instead of half in the ground.

It doesn't seem like it would be extremely difficult to do so I was wondering if anyone could give me an overview of what would be required.

Thanks a lot for your time

Well I don't know really what you want to do, I guess you will have some more flying altitude, uhm... 3 or more possible ways

a) You choose your model, you open it with Magos, then you edit the model in magos and increase its height in Z coordinates.
-------
???... maybe

b) Use those projectiles as units and you change the fly height in object editor, but you also must make triggers to use them, so it's worse

c) Also you can change somethings flying height with animation triggers
------

You should use method a)... Don't know what you want to do

Thank you very much for the responses. To clarify, the problem was just that when you try to use certain projectiles with the carrion swarm spell they are shot across the map with half of their model stuck in the ground.

But it looks like this model editor will do just the trick to raise a few of them up, thank you much for the help!

Ok, so I was messing around with the model editor, which is great btw.

I can get the verticies translated up by 100 to where the fireball is shooting somewhat in the air. The problem though is that the particle effects are still kind of stuck at the origin.

I tried every option i could find that had a z axis in it and nothing seemed to budge those particle effects. Anyone got any hints?

I'm basically just trying to elevate this whole model by 100 so when used in a carrion swarm spell its not dragging around in the dirt when being shot.
