[Model] - Alita

Hello everyone,

I am completely new to this site (other than the couple of times I've downloaded a couple of models from here). I am not really a 3D modeling type of guy (i've tried alot, but with little success). And I have recently been looking around the next to see if there is a 3D model for warcraft of the anime character known as Alita/Yoko (Ref: wiki art on char., DL link to manga series [for various pics.] . pic of Alita . pic 2). I would really like to see a model made of this character, mainly because of my interest in the series, and because of the thought of what can be done with the said model/hero/character.

I know this request might be quiet a big, so I don't mind if no one takes me up on this project, but please reply to this topic with your ~constructive~ critisms/opinions on this subject.

Thank you all in advance for your comments. =3

Anime=uninteresting. Most of the anime maps put up for Warcraft III were even worse than the shows they have made in it. But since your the first person asking for anime models with correct spelling, I congratulate you. Good luck on your project, no matter how much I hate anime.

The fact that the maps suck is why I'm working on this, because I want a map that actually has some quality in it. Though I'm not really trying to turn it into an anime based map. Thank you for your reply though. Oh well, guess I'll see what I can make of it.

Another thing you might want to try. Try to earn some reputation to "purchase" some models off TheLastIstarti, it's one of the stickied threads at the top dealing with Anime models. He might have one that will look similar to the person(s) you need. It's not a Naruto rip-off, right? I hope not. Naruto is the worst of the worst.

P.S.: Try to get more involved with the community. The better they know you, the more they'll want to help you. Atleast from my viewpoint, it's the most logical way to do it. Oh, and one more thing, KINDLYNESS IS MOST APPRECIATED BY THE PEOPLE. Keep those things in mind, and you just may get the request done. Good luck!

Ha! Don't make me laugh, if I was gunna do that, I would chop my hands off first.

But yeah, not a Naruto rip. And I'll see if there's any close the general model(s) that I need. Thank you for your help.

Any time, my friend. Like I said, good luck on your map!

P.S.: When you give out reputation points, give a clear reason, so the reciever isn't confused when he gets it. But thank you very much.

Posting doesn't necessarily help you obtain more Reputation. Helping people does. It's an easy system, really. You just help people out. Share information with someone, give someone advice. Or just appreciate or admire someone's work. Occasionally you'll recieve a Reputation point from them. And sometimes you won't. But then again, maybe that's not the case...

Do you even model Deadnerzhul? You are talking about being part of a community, yet alot of your posts seem like you are playing unnecessary admin.... I've seen multiple posts from you on this forum just complaining about spelling and peoples requests, and not much else. When it comes to being part of any community, you have to be able to put something in before you can have your word.

Anyways dude, what he is saying is correct, anime models just aren't in right now. Especially (what appears to me to be) little known ones... and by the sounds of it you already know how difficult and time consuming modelling is, so you can understand that people don't want to spend alot of time on something that is going to be discarded. Are you actually wanting it as part of a project or what?

If you are, use the idea's forum to create an outline for your project and get working on it. I have nearly learnt how to model (just having issues with exporting with the correct animations thx to freeware programs ;P), and once I've got that all under control and if you are still interested, I'd like to give it a shot....

(I've wanted to do an anime model for some time now, but not something that has been done before.... and I've never heard of alita, but after reading through that wiki link in your post I think she's cool :D)

I don't model, but if I could, I definitely would. I ment being part of the community as in joining other threads and helping people out.
