A few issues regarding catapults and how they work...

hello, got a few questions for you guys regarding catapults

Number 1 = PROBLEM SOLVED
I'm building the Minas Tirith Map and I would like the Mordor Catapults (and Gondor Trebuchets) to not acquire individual targets, but rather just shoot randomly into the city. (all cats do high area and individual damage, so individual targeting is a bit ridiculous. Units, especially archers, just go splat!)

I don't know what triggers to use to do this... and if its even possible... (i'm guessing it is though)

I would like either full randomized shooting into an area (i.e the city) [I'm guessing that will require a region the size of the whole city and then randomizing points in that region]

or

otherwise set up say 20/30 predetermined points in the city and then cats randomly select one of those points and shoot there.


Number 2
This should be easy, but I'd like to know what base ability to use if I want to change the catapult shot from fireball to human heads. Cold Arrow? Is there a better base ability to use?


Number 3
Is it possible to change the size of projectile art and how do you do this? I'm using one of the 'rocks' doodads as the projectile art for the Gondor Trebuchets, but I'd like the rock to be bigger. That possible?



Anyone out there that knows how any of this works, please let me know how to do it or post a test map or a link to a tut (if one exists).

Don't touch the unit, let it take its own action by the trigger

one question... by making a 'massive region' that covers the whole city, that region will cross some of the others (e.g. teleport entrance points etc.) will this not affect any of the other region triggers by overlapping the regions?

2. Does the ability permanently change or temporary (like Cold Arrows) ?
Or you can switch it back and forth the ability ?
You can base it off from Searing Arrows or Orb of Anhhilation

3. Use Custom Model for that
Change the "Combat - Attack 1 - Projectile Art" to "YourCustomMissile"

2. well, i want to link it into a quest where your total amount of kills up to just before the battle, is than equal to the amount of heads you will be able to shoot with all cats combined. (heads then have some crazy fear ability or something) Haven't started triggering of quests though so haven't made the ability yet...

I was just wondering if there were any permanent attack change abilities, couldn't think of any...
