6 VS Wild mini-survival is a map that breaks down typical mechanics of survival games
such as Minecraft, ARK: Survival Evolved or Valheim to a Warcraft 3 map.
It has an estimated playtime of 30-45 minutes which makes the map suitable for
lan parties or online sessions.
In the beginning you need to choose your preferred settings to customize the difficulty
and to adjust the map for your teams composition.
Version: 0.9.2. Suggested Players: 3-12
Supported Players: 1-18 (6 teams with up to 3 teammates per team) Exportet with Warcraft III Version 1.36.0.20257 Note: I refunded Reforged because I don't want to support it. It made everything worse. This map should work in HD Reforged mode, but I would really appreciate if somebody could review if it works. Thanks for your understanding. Don't edit or reupload this map without my permission.
Survive together with your teammates as long as you can!
Gather resources, craft items and build a base (/shelter) to protect yourself
During the nights wolfes and other wild animals will try to hunt you down.
After 4 in-game days, the endless night starts with endless terrors that will hunt you to your bitter end.
The weather is frequently changing. Heavy rain, heat waves and heavy storms will occasionally form additional challanges.
You can try to gank players from other teams. But be warned: The wilderness on it's own will already be a big challenge for you.
The last surviving team wins the game
You have 2 inventory pages, only one is active at a time. Swap with your character’s ability, arrow right and arrow left.
Gather lumber & stone (base resources), flowers (power-ups), plants and meat (food).
Enhance items with leather and ore.
Stay energized by eating food! (mana = energy)
Shelter yourself against bad weather & storms.
Gather lumber and stone to craft items and buildings.
Craft items by using your regular crafting menu and the workbench for advanced crafting.
Plants and meat are food that can be cooked to restore hit points and energy.
Leather and ore is used to enhance items for lategame gear(each item can usually be enhanced only once).
You can also enhance Battle Standards and Barricades.
There are six different buildings:
Shelter: Protects you from bad weather effects, lets you take a short nap to restore energy (= mana) and increases the armor of nearby friendly survivors. Can also upgrade your basic attack power.
Campfire: Lets you cook meat and plant-based food, heals you frequently and increases the movement speed and health regeneration of nearby friendly survivors.
Workbench: Used for advanced crafting. Allows you to salvage items to gain 1 lumber and 1 stone per item level of target item.
Battle Standard: Increases attack power, attack rate and movement speed of nearby friendly survivors. Can repair nearby buildings.
Shrine of Revival: Increases your team's life by 1. Can be used to set your respawn and to revive team mates which died while no team lifes were left.
Barricades: Used to protect you from hostile animals.
Wolfes, Spiders and Bears will spawn randomly during the nights.
There are attack groups each night that will hunt you down.
After the beginning of the 4th night, the day-night cyclus is turned of and mobs will permanently spawn and frequently hunt you.
Hares and deer can be hunted by survivors to gather meat and leather if you are lucky.
All animals other than spiders can drop leather for item enhancements.
Spiders will drop power-ups to increase your maximum hit points.
There are crocodiles in the middle of the map (= the lake), that will make the lake shores unsafe during all kinds of rainy weather.
Energy:
Each survivor has 20 energy (mana).
You will frequently loose 2 energy every 15-45 seconds depending on the chosen settings.
When your energy level is 8 or lower, you will suffer from a movement speed malus.
If your energy level is 0, you will be dealt 4 damage every 2 seconds until you restored energy.
Energy can be restored with food and by taking a nap at the shelter.
Some abilities will use 1 energy.
Weather:
You will suffer additional health and energy loss during heavy rain, heat waves and heavy storms.
A shelter can fully protect you against bad weather.
A coat can reduce the effects of bad weather by 50%.
Lighting during heavy storms can randomly damage areas. That kind of damage can't be prevented.
The weather is changing frequently and randomly, where calm weather increases the chance that the next weather will be bad and the other way around.
You can try to gank other teams. But be warned: The wilderness on it's own might already be a big challenge for you.
When killed in PVP, you will gain additional resources on respawn.
The name was inspired by the german reality YouTube Show "7 VS. Wild" about real life outdoor survival
Spawns are random.
The map is symetric but "organically" designed with minor differences.
You can use [arrow up] and [arrow down] to toggle between your character and the crafting menu, you also have an ability to switch between those.
Your character's [D]-Ability allows you to swap between your active inventory pages. You can use [arrow right] and [arrow left] to trigger this ability.
Each ore vein has a chance to drop ore for item enhancements.
After night 4 (the final night) has started, it might be very hard to come back into the game after your team has wiped.

This is the first version of this map published. Note: First file uploaded was with the version name 1.0 and a different file name, I decided to change it to 0.9
Played solo, and I liked it honestly, but I think that the endgame starts too quickly and that there is not many things to do, probably because the map is PVP based

Thank you so much for playing the map and for your feedback! Have you tried the 660 seconds a day? that would slow down everything a little. If you have ideas on how to improve the map you are always welcome to share them! My main concept was to keep the map down to 40-45 minutes max, thats why the endgame starts so quickly.
Please remove the assets as they will be downloaded along with the map and instead make a credits list.
That includes models, skins, icons, custom spells, systems. Also, sounds, music and everything outside this site.
This helps you with the models, skins and icons from Hiveworkshop: Resources in use by 6 VS Wild mini-survival (V. 0.9.1)

Tried the map there was a way to kind of dupe your resources if you'r playing multi you can send your stone and lumber via trading menu where the other person has to be fast cause it gets removed back in like 0.1-0.2 secs but it was possible to pretty much get all crafting table items.
