I don't think they're gems, I saw them as gaps in the sword.
Nice job on the icon, certainly a good-looking blade and the background is well done.

Amazing work, I've a very soft spot for beautifully sculptured aura/glow.
It may only be something reasonably happy for you. But it's a tremendous
joy for me
