looks good hmm maybe i'll use this in a one of my minigames

Very nice and useful for prehistoric map.I will not rate it until it has an icon.I have a question olof...Have you given up on your starwars models?(So far i'd rate this model a 4/5).Good job.

i like this 1 it looks like its a real model of the creature :P

Model : 3/5 is it for a small unit in game ?? If it is, there is 2 times too much polys ! Is the mandibles are is full poly ? Not good, you can use alpha texture and save a lot of polys.
Except number of poly, model is ok.

Texture : 3/5 If it's for a big or normal unit, texture need to be reworked with more shade.

Animation : 3/5 if it's a small or normal unit, we can't see the mandible animated at the walk and the death is near to be ok but it is too short and very worked.

So one more unit with too much poly and animation need to be worked, keep it, it's a good start i think.
Global note : 3/5

"It doesn't matter that much how much polys it has"

yep.. i think you can't work in a serious game society with this mind... or director will make you understand very fast...

Just look at this http://www.acathla.com/Input/acathladrone.jpg

And there is 6 legs under the body for the walk.

"It doesn't matter that much how much polys it has, as long as it's not an insane large file size or has an insane large number of polys, and it's not an insane large file or has insane much polys."

well I'd say... the requirement is that it runs well, and within those limits, you push the polys till the models are as detailed as possible while remaining in a reasonable poly count.

thanks Olofmoleman, you've done a lot... and your models are great... I dunno how to repay you... but I will try my best to make a fun, realistic, and balanced map... for people to play. :D
