I sketched them on Sketchbook, Procreate, or on paper first, and then colored digitally on the computer.
I can't show you the colored files because they're on my company's computer, but I can show you my first-drafts by hands.
I used to a graphic designer, but I'm only good at sketching character portraits or simple poses.
These two are Koltira's first drafts. I actually drew many drafts, but most of them didn't work well.
This is another early draft of Thassarian that I skeched before. I actually prefer this one, but it wasn't suitable as an icon because the details are difficult to present on the icon, so I gave it up.

No, I tried to copy their style, but my coloring is still quite rough, so the drawings really only work at icon size — the details don't hold up when viewed up close.
