Whether it's artificial intelligence made by humans, or space aliens hidden by the US government, society is going to spiral into a future where all creative works can be created by machine brains instantly. What is productive? What does it mean for anything to be productive? They're going to destroy the productive value of anything I ever did. What is more productive than just being about myself 90% of the time for my own personal entertainment? Imagine if I fixed the top 10 stupidest bugs in Retera Model Studio. That's only productive for the next 6 months until AI makes all 3D models. It's just helping others to serve their own fantasies of their own value

We're not even going to have government. We can't even hold Sam Altman responsible for OpenAI suiciding its former employee for trying to get information to the government about what's really going on in their company.

What part of that is nonsense? I want it to be nonsense. I want the world to be how it was 20 years ago, that's probably better for everyone than how it is today. But it doesn't seem like it is (to me).
