This one seems to be less canonical than the others. I wish Blizzard simply wrote a book about the first war. The Last Guardian is more like a spinoff.
I feel there's no need for a book since we have the manuals and the games. The main point is to play, not read a book.
Yeah and Day of the Dragon is just part of Warcraft II copied... Rhonin as Khadgar, Vereesa as Alleria, Falstad as Kurdran. Also, the dragon shapeshifting thing... oh well.
I think a lot of lore has been retconned over time. I would like to see a modern take on it. Which then would also help with structuring a custom campaign.
