Good question. But I guess for a proper functioning system whether it's supervised or not, some rules should be followed, so I guess, the answer is: ours.
You know like if you're trying to change some aspects in lives of ants, you should be discreet about it, no antennae cutting.
Are you suggesting that a space alien sending me a copy of the source code of a Warcraft 3 clone would be as toxic to the human society as chopping off the antennae of ants would be to an ant colony?
