Which version is your game on? I think versions older than 1.29 are having those problems, arachnathids should be fine but someone else reported it too I'll try to check them out again , never heard of anyone having problems with spiders
Version 1.31.1. Actually it works fine in Version 1.26 but not in 1.31.1. or even 1.30.4. But due to lack of widescreen I really dont like playing in 1.26 unless I have to.
I tested it in 1.26 and both the problems remain in 1.26 as well. While the zigzag tiles are not that much of an eyesore, will be very glad if you could find a fix for the bridges, the grass bridge sometimes ruins beautiful cityscapes.
Like I said it is impossible to fix the bridges in recent patches as long as Blizzard does not add back the support for it , it will not work on 1.26 too if you dont fix it yourself the bridges are using cliff textures which were stored in tileset specific mpq's like a.mpq for ashenvale etc they had the same texture path replaceabletextutes/cliff/cliff0.blp , now they are stored in .war3mod folders but Blizzard did not make them modable so I have to edit slks for cliffs but it does not fix the bridges
best way is making a .mix file and in replaceable textures cliffs rebirth has acliff1 acliff0 and so on you must copy them into a.mpq and rename as cliff0 cliff1 and go on to bcliff0 bcliff0 put it into b.mpq and rename and so on
well okay let me start again there is a folder called replaceabletextures in your wc3 now created by rebirth it has a sub folder called cliff in that there are files like a_cliff0.blp and so on that 'a' means it belongs to that mpq so in 1.26 you can make a mpq called 'A.mpq' and add a those into it with the same path but just rename them as cliff0.blp cliff1.blp instead of a_cliff0.blp a_cliff1.blp they'll be able to replace bridge textures.
