Hero's Story

Soon after Lelliandra was born, the Jade King has sent a caravan of treasures to King Valefor in hopes of him returning the favor by protecting of what's left of his kingdom, and his daughter. Unfortunately, destiny being what she is, the caravan with jewelry and gold has been intercepted by bandits, and among all the sapphires, diamonds and emeralds, they also found another gem - Lelliandra the Jade. Originally wanting to leave the baby by the first doorstep they'd encounter, as they were thieves and not murderers, the bandit changed their minds when they spotted Whitemane druidesses in their daily routine of collecting herbs. They were happy to accept the "present" as they called it, from the Jade King himself, and promised to tutor the young girl until she was of a thousand moon cycles old, when she could go back to her homelands and rule the kingdom.
Growing up with the wise druids, Lelliandra's grace grew even stronger, as the born talent for mending wounded warriors was now even further enchanted by naturalistic elven magic from the Whitemane druids.
However, at the night of the thousandth moon since her birth, while on her way to Jade Gardens, The Witch appeared in front of Lelliandra and gave her a warning that she must never return to her druid encampment, or her fate will be sealed once and for all times. The priestess knew that the Valefor's madness has reached the ending point, and being wise enough to neglect The Witch's warning, she returned to Silverpine Forests just to find her entire camp slaughtered. Accepting the fate she was given, and devastated more than the Ravenhearts village, she swore vengeance to the Silver King, and she wouldn't stop at no creature or magic to end Valefor's corruption.

Hero Introduction

The Jade Maiden is an all-rounded defensive hero, which is also the only hero who is completely focused on healing role. Not only that she has heals for every situation, but she can also apply shields on allies, effectively preventing squishy characters from dying. She also can launch a retreat, as she got two spells that can stop enemies from advancing, allowing her party to run away. Additionally, to complete her defensive versatility, she can put enemies in unhealable state, and she herself can break through unhealable allies and heal those.

Lelliandra's Moonchant Gem is HOPE, which increases her healing powers, adds Ripple Effect ability to her which makes her Pulsheal ability more potent the longer it's channeled, and multiplies Thousand Roses' damage by 5.

Tactics & Strategy

Being a healer, the Jade Maiden should be played as safe as possible to avoid early death. She deals very little to no damage and you need to understand that if you play as her character, you'll be fully focused on protecting your allies. Regrowth is a skill that cooldowns very fast and costs little, so it should be spammed constantly, keeping the Blooming Touch and it's a lot higher heal rate (mana cost too) just for critical situations. If your team is composed of characters that have similar range, or are all melee, you should invest in Pulsheal instead, as it's overall heal for mana cost is much greater if you can manage to stay near all allies. Heart of Oak cooldowns relatively fast, but costs a lot of mana, and should be used exclusively for protecting squishy characters who's life capacity doesn't allow heals to be safely spammed upon. Upon obtaining Shards of Life perk and the Moonchant Gem, the Jade Maiden can heal total of 50% of original values on Unhealable Targets. She is supposed the top priority to recieve the Moonchant Gem early.
