    Chaos magic mainly includes spells that deal damage of different areas and elements.
    It is available to Archmage, Alchemist, Farseer, Ice mage, Mountain king, Naga sea witch, Pit lord and Questing knight.

    The effect of a spell depends on the hero's Spellpower and Skill level of Chaos magic skill.
    Basic Chaos: 1
    Advanced Chaos: 2
    Expert Chaos: 3

    Some spells are improved by a secondary Perk.
    [​IMG] Herald of Doom: makes Bloodlust & Misfortune 3x3 area spells, and halves the time until the next turn after the hero casts them.
    [​IMG] Stone wrath: makes Stone spikes, Meteors and Implosion cripple the targets, permanently reducing their speed by 1 (does not stack).
    [​IMG] Pyromancer: makes Eldritch arrow, Fireball, Disintegrate and Armageddon melt the victim's armor. The armor is reduced by 50% for one turn. The effect is reduced by magic resistance as fire damage.
    [​IMG] Thunderlord: makes Lightning bolt and Chain lightning stun the target, delaying its turn by 30% (reduces the Scale value of the unit by 30). Effective against units with Initiative under 10.
    [​IMG] Master of Frost: makes Ice shard and Ring of frost freeze the targets, reducing their Initiative to 0 for 30% of a turn. Effective against targets with Initiative higher than 10.

    If an effect has a duration, the duration is calculated with its own Initiative of 10.

    Tier 1 spells (available from the start of the game)
    [​IMG] Eldritch arrow [4 mana] - deals fire damage to a single target.
    Base damage: 45 + 4x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 15 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Pyromancer" perk

    [​IMG] Stone spikes [5 mana] - deals earth damage in a cross-shaped area of 5 squares.
    Base damage: 35 + 2x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 15 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Wrath of stone" perk

    [​IMG] Bloodlust [3 mana] - increases attack damage of the target unit, but also makes it take more attack damage. Does not affect damage from spells.
    May not affect Mechanical units.
    Lasts a number of turns equal to Spellpower.
    Effect: 20%
    Each skill level adds 10% to the effect
    - This spell benefits from "Herald of Doom" perk

    Tier 2 spells (available from level 4 onwards)
    [​IMG] Lightning bolt [5 mana] - deals lightning damage to a single target.
    Base damage: 35 + 8x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 10 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Thunderlord" perk

    [​IMG] Ice shard [6 mana] - deals frost damage to a single target.
    Base damage: 60 + 4x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 30 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Master of Frost" perk

    [​IMG] Misfortune [4 mana] - reduces the target's Luck.
    Lasts a number of turns equal to Spellpower.
    Effect: -1 Luck
    Each skill level improves the effect by 1.
    - The effect is reduced by magic resistance as non-elemental damage.
    - Fortune is a counter to Misfortune - whichever is cast later replaces the former.
    - This spell benefits from "Herald of Doom" perk

    Tier 3 spells (available from level 7 and up)
    Casting these requires Basic Chaos skill, or Wisdom perk from Sorcery
    [​IMG] Fireball [10 mana] - deals fire damage in a square 3x3 area.
    Base damage: 100 + 1x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 20 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Pyromancer" perk

    [​IMG] Ring of frost[10 mana] - deals frost damage in a square 3x3 area, except the center.
    Base damage: 100 + 1x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 20 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Master of Frost" perk

    [​IMG] Blink [6 mana] - teleports a unit, including enemy units. Choose a target, then the destination - the reach of the spell will be highlighted yellow.
    Base distance: 3 squares
    Each skill level increases the blink distance by 1 square

    Tier 4 spells (available since level 10)
    Casting these requires Advanced Chaos skill, or Wisdom perk from Sorcery
    [​IMG] Meteors [16 mana] - deals earth damage in a square 5x5 area.
    Base damage: 25 + 3x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 20 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Wrath of stone" perk

    [​IMG] Chain lightning [18 mana] - deals lightning damage to a single target, then jumps between 3 additional targets (preferring the closest unit). Each extra target takes half as much damage as the previous one.
    Base damage: 50 + 8x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 30 + Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Thunderlord" perk

    [​IMG] Disintegrate [12 mana] - deals non-elemental damage to a single target depending on its current health. Creatures destroyed by the spell may not be resurrected by any means.
    Base effect: 10% health + 1% per Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by another 10% of health
    - Removes Endurance and Frost armor buffs from the target
    - Never deals less than 1 damage per effect %
    - This spell benefits from "Firelord" perk

    Tier 5 spells (only available from level 13)
    Casting these requires Expert Chaos skill, or Wisdom perk from Sorcery
    [​IMG] Implosion [16 mana] - deals massive earth damage to a single target.
    Base damage: 220 + 9x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 40 + 2x Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Wrath of stone" perk

    [​IMG] Armageddon [17 mana] - deals fire damage to everyone on the battlefield.
    Base damage: 130 + 5x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 10 + 2x Spellpower
    - This spell benefits from "Pyromancer" perk; does not melt armor of your own units

    [​IMG] Pandaemonium [11 mana] - deals non-elemental damage to everyone on the battlefield, except Demons. Randomly teleports every unit.
    Base damage: 45 + 4x Spellpower
    Each skill level increases damage by 15 + Spellpower
