The Illidari are the loyal servants of Illidan Stormrage, the lord of Outland. Many factions and armies were enticed to join Illidan during his ventures into Outland. The Naga were granted to him by Queen Azshara herself. Illidan quickly assembled the Blood Elves into his fold as they shared a similar destiny. After the Naga and Blood Elves managed to overtake the Black Temple, the demons of the former lord, Magtheridon, pledged their loyalty to Illidan's will. Now, with the combined forces of many powerful armies, the diverse battalions tread through the land and skies, defeating all who dare to oppose their lord and master, Illidan.
Illidari Coalition
The Illidari are a coalition of many races serving under Illidan. As such, they bring their own strengths to the faction as a whole. The more members of a particular race the player controls, the greater the global buff they receive. Blood Elves provide additional mana and mana regeneration, Demons increase life regeneration, and Naga boost attack rate.
Elites
With combined strength comes elite forces for the Illidari, allowing them to train powerful, elite-class warriors for a hefty price. The Blood Elves deploy the durable Arcane Golem, the Demons call upon their specialist Jailors, and the Naga rule the skies with powerful Leviathans. Each of these units gains increased effectiveness based on the number of their respective race.
Varied Approach
Varied unit options are a staple of the Illidari. As such, the faction offers numerous possibilities for a wide array of army combinations. With access to a roster of Blood Elves, Demons, Naga, and even some Broken Draenei, you can utilize their diverse strengths to counter whatever the enemy throws at you.
Diverse Defenses
Each race in the faction brings its own special towers, which are upgraded from a base form. Blood Elven towers gain increased mana from Blood Elven forces and have the ability to fire magical arrows at the cost of mana. Demon towers specialize in close-range defense, dealing area damage around them. Naga towers gain additional attack speed with more Naga troops while dealing splash damage. Additionally, all forces are bolstered by the Arcane Pool, which enhances the strength of the Illidari Coalition mechanic.
