Before I start my opinion, i just wanna say that please respect the person who open the Hive Discord Channel and also respect the person who created Hive Chat.
Let get right into it
I see like some off rumor that Hive Chat is about to be replaced by Discord. Which i thought was bullshit since you can't just throw it away for saying like: " Too empty,... Feel like ghosttown or other excuse that related base on how many people in there.
Remind me that not all everybody have a same time zone okay ? All of Hivers are like from around the damn world (Mostly I saw Serbians more than other). You can't expect any time that start to feel active. Hive chat is put as a tab option, you must be lucky to see it since if you put lower than that, The Chat might be not interesting.
The Chat was made in the site, not from some company just rolling those money and they just don't give a middle finger. If you made this, you would have taking suggestion and put on it.

Yes, since discord can actually contain a non-hive member. Even they verified it, you can't guaranteed that a Hive member. Hive can bans a member or stop them from making another account. Discord you can ban them but can't do the other one.
Yeah but this make you have a certain privacy that nobody reading your awkward moments (Not the worst thing happen). Discord allow you to read it but also some cringe worthly... well ether that i still credit for allowing * laugh * me reading those Icoria message

I am team Hive Chat, not quite a fan of Discord due to hatred on Jason Citron (Creator of Discord). His program was okay but YOU (Ralle) could make better than him. What the point of it, feel like Discord is now a center for chatting outside game and you followed him. Now I am not forcing you for like wanting Hive Chat gone active better than Discord. That just a two type in the world:
Classic and Modern.
Now i should stop type here.. a part two gotta be salty
