The Dark Iron Clan is a highly isolated group of Dwarves that still hold deep hatred for their brethren. After the War of the Three Hammers was lost, the Dark Iron Dwarves retreated back deep into the underground; where the Ragnaros the Firelord was awaken. Ragnaros enslaved the frail dwarves, forcing them to do all his bidding, and forcing them to live with his fiery minions running rampant. Though not nearly as mighty or fortunate as the Ironforge and Wildhammer brethren, have developed a keen skill in subterfuge, dark magic, and assassination; yet they still retain their natural ingenuity for mechanics and stonework.

Emperor's VerdictThe Hostels are constantly filled with Drunkards ready to fight. Once called upon, the building takes damage and an angered Drunkard is released ready to fight.

Mobile ResourcesResource gathering is far more mobile. Resources carts act as the Dark Iron Clan's mobile resource drop-off point. These carts can also cargo and transport Miners safely.

Siege PotentialWhen it comes to long range assaults and quickly destroying enemy bases the warriors of Dark Iron Clan are highly suited for the deed. Many units are equipped with Siege damage, allowing for dispatching bases.

Impenetrable BaseThe structures are build upon sturdy and heavily reinforced volcanic rocks, making them difficult to assail and lay siege to. The player has access to early upgrades to further reinforce the structures that scales well into the late game.
