The Nerubians, inhabitants of the subterranean depths of Northrend, are famed for their resilience and cunning. With chitinous exoskeletons and venomous attacks, they navigate their intricate underground cities with uncanny agility. Masters of ambush tactics, they fiercely defend their realm against intruders, guided by queens and overlords in a society steeped in darkness and mystery. Their mastery of ancient arcane arts lends them formidable powers, allowing them to manipulate magics and ensnare their enemies with enigmatic abilities, shrouding their subterranean realm in an aura of mystique and intrigue.
Queen's Dominion
The Living Nerubians do not have access to conventional defenses; however their Brood Mothers employ a way to deter enemy forces. A Brood Mother may enter the structure to enable it to attack nearby enemy units with ranged attacks. When inside she passively produces birthing eggs. She may be ejected after entering.Spawns a birthing egg near the structure. If there are more than five Birthing Eggs nearby no more will spawn.
Storerooms
Instead of a regular food source, structures utilize permanent upgrades to the food cap through Stockroom upgrades and Nestholds. Multiple structures share the capability to research Stockroom.
Birthing Eggs
Nerubian combat units are all trained from a special structures called Birthing Eggs. Every Birthing Egg can train any combat unit, provided the proper tech is active. Each Egg can only train a single unit. These Eggs can be provided through Brood Mothers or Gathered from Queen's Dominion passive generation.
Nestling Gold Mine
Gold production is attained through creating a Nestling on a vacant Goldmine. Once completed, Brood Mothers may be ordered to harvest it. If the Brood Mother casts her abilities while within the vicinity of the Nestling Goldmine she will return to harvesting after casting.
Tunnel Network
As an additional form of traversal Drones may construct Tunnel Networks. These structures allow the player to travel across networks regardless of distance. However; use caution. When all of the player's Tunnel Networks are destroyed all the forces inside are killed.
