According to my custom lore, the forest trolls wanted something genuine and don't want to imitate the jungle trolls for riding bats, and so they tamed the deep forest dragons, to be their mounts.
@Battleborn Might just be a culture/regional difference not necessarily a copyright/originality thing. Are those exactly dragons or wyverns (not WcIII ones)?

They're dragons that do not belong to any dragon aspect. According to the custom lore, they are outer offspring and illegitimate children of dragon aspects from some loas or nature elementals. Though being rabid and hermetic dragons, the forest trolls found a use for them and employed them.
