Pandaren in Trolmania?! HERECY! Whats this?! ALLIANCE BANNER?!!! Where is the proud black banner of the Empire?! You will burn in Neon Hell for this!
Okay, seriously now, love the pic =P
And yeah, if you remove the God Emperor thing and the Neon Light church(always hated that... freaking Neon Light >>) Empire is pretty nice and Im glad you are experinenting with the more realistic look, without everyody being fanatical servant of Trol. I mean come on, Soviet Union had damn lot of propaganda, but only a little percentage of the population was really communist, else either secretly disliked it or just didnt care.
I found Neon light and stuff pretty awesome. Actually I wouldn't mind Trolmania becomming even more heavy metal, with neon knights carrying guitars and killing enemies with guitar solos, rock concerts in Trolman's churchs, anthems with real rock song quotes, stuff ripped from old music clips of old heavy metal bands... that would be awesome... unstandart, but actually an empire of heavy metal is a really cool idea...
Ronnie is quite a reformator I'd say... or just a person with enough common sence.
Well this is Lordearon city so I figured that they still use those banners (and I always hated that black flag item). I didn't remove Neon Light nor God emperor things its just well... who said people are that religious, except inquisitors and members of the church. I was trying to be realistic when it comes to actual people.
Yeah. Fanatics are the ones ruin the orginzations hell look at medevil europe, not everyone there was devotees of Christianity, or Jewish faith. They just fought each other due to land and possessions, but the religious wars that come after like the renassiance was due to splits in the faith. Though it would be interesting to have a split in the Light Faith.
Actually there was whole era called "dark ages" in which religion ruled and Renaissance actually ended that period and science and art were able to be expanded beyond religious dogma. And split of Christianity never caused any battles (and it happened many times before Renaissance ). The Crusades were Catholics vs Muslims and they were before Renaissance. true the leaders had no religious intentions but soldiers were all promised to be forgiven for all the sins and to get sort to say ticket to heaven. Make no mistake medieval people weren't fanatical about religion but all followed it. On the side note Light religion is splintered in warcraft, draenei have their light, humans have theirs and forsaken have shadow as replacement. And its not interesting its just annoying.
Purgatory = highway to heaven. Yes I remember that. And Vel you can't forget the split of the catholic church for example protestant reformation and the thirty year and hundred year wars.
Actually I am allowed to forget since I am neither of those. And it wasn't "the split" (that's reserved for Orthodox-Catholic split), it was people getting smart enough to see that catholic church is corrupted and thus they wanted their freedom and protestants them selves aren't 1 church, many churches were created. Was religious revolution that made people create their own religion how they wanted. Besides those event came at the very end of medieval times. Before that people were devoted to their faiths...oh And Jewish were always devoted to their faiths and so are the Muslims. Religion was in dark ages one of most powerful tools of control.
Also nobody mentioned purgatory? And is quite debatable thing its seems but I am hardly the one to speak on behalf of orthodox.
