Ugh, I hope Exodus 2 won't be about demons but on another planet... I am really hoping at some creative thinking and original/different magic and life form related what ifs.
Flamefang orcs use this building to summon fire/earth/combined elementals of all shapes and proportions. They mastered it, and advanced elemental spawns are their answer to advanced technology of the Enclave. Those guys are shamanistic, and they hate demons.
There are absolutely no demons in Exodus 2 :] . Main antagonist of Exodus 2 is Jiluun itself.
