@deepstrasz They are an unused concept from The Burning Crusade
I liked the design so much that I wanted to include them in my mod as a creep race.
My headcanon for them was that they are robots built by goblins who became sentient and so rebelled.
But for a robot race they aren't very intelligent or advanced.
