Impossible. As I said a thousand times back then the Machine's forces were great, it had huge contraptions and deadly gase machines which could destroy anyone, so surviving on Kezan was IMPOSSIBLE, exceptions being Scientist and Hunter, one being creator of the Machine and another being an expert in survival. All of the rest died.
If those goblin's ships were destroyed they would have been killed by the huge mechs, toxic gas or simply the missiles =/

Oh come on, I'm pretty sure there could be few small villages still existing. I mean it's much harder to find a small village than a bigger one, so these could survive by hiding from machines...
Dude, Machine had thousands of flying spies flying everywhere, small mechs lurking in each hole, giant battle mechs towering above the trees, seeking life. The Machine only stopped when all the intelligent life was gone, except its creator who stopped it and Hunter who could easily defend himself.
I wouldnt mind if he said that they returned from other island or shores of Kalimdor. Then I would have no objection since its where they fled and they could easily hear the news of Kezan being retaken by a resistance. Im okay with people coming back. I am NOT TOLERATING people who "were hiding all this time". Because it is a WoWish excuse.
