@Mechanical Man , well, original tractorcycle (sorry, its on russian, but it has excerpt from the original magazine in english), turns by a handlebars, which control sideway motion of drive belt, so it had problems with stability when turning and did not have the best handling.
In the draft of the modern version of this thing (sorry, on russian again) the tracks are assembled from beveled segments and rotates with its body.
@Hazop Well, I think about sabre, not the lance
Because given the design of this thing, the lance is useful only for a ram strike - he sits in such a way that he simply cannot strike with a lance to the sides and he is not high enough over the infantry to be able to work freely with it.
However, I thought to make a walker version, and there the lance will be the main melee weapon - it will be damn convenient to hit enemies from the height of the walker.
