So, what do you mean made for Reforged? Do you plan on updating your mod with models that suit the engine or do you plan on opening up a thread with models like these for modders?
@deepstrasz
I'm planning to unleash some stuff to underground then here, maybe a thread of rips from WoW, Warhammer, etc...
I'm not updating the mod to full HQ because I'm not going to use super HQ models like ones I ripped from Metro Exodus and Half Life 2. HL1 models are hard to rip.
@deepstrasz
I am planning to rip the headcrabs, gargantuas, alien grunts, and houndeyes. I would like to make them able to be ported into warcraft 3 since I'll be giving them wacrafty skins some time in the future when I totally fully risen up from IRL stuff.
@deepstrasz
Thanks
Well, the Gargantua model is brilliantly made. Whoever did that has a very creative imagination. Also the alien grunts, the concept is good.
I wonder why no one ever made half life models but only halo and resident evils
I really feel like we shouldn't rip games from Half Life (and any other games from Valve), there's a conflict between Valve and Blizzard before especially with mods. Recently I started using the assets made only by the community and forget the use ripped models because I fear that the big companies out there might take down my modded maps.
I too suggest you make the models manually by hand -- if battlenet is your aim -- no copy rights for models made to ''look'' like xenomorphs or grunts or flood parasites, yet i've seen em all made by hand with no problems.
edit: thats just regarding non blizzard models -- wow models for warcraft3 should be no problem since their both blizzard.
