Is that really gonna be in your map?

It sure does :D

For the 1.11 patch, ive made 10 new items, and completely randomised the drops :)

However, the new inventory system as shown above wont be implemented for a fair while yet :) Its a beast to trigger, and its going to take LTGH a while to finish :D
 
Looks impressive. Can't wait to see it in use.

Will you also add some sort of save/load system, later on, so you can continue your characters, or will you leave the system as it is?
 
Theres definately plans to add a save/load at some point. The idea is, We will keep on creating maps, and they will get more and mroe challenging. You will be able to load your hero on any of these levels.

There's also some plans to make an Arena style map where players can do various PvP scenario's with their heroes :)
 
Yeah. I hope you don't make the PVP system QUITE like Diablo 2's, though...where only one person has to go hostile to initiate a duel.

If you're making multiple maps, then I would suggest seperate each area into a different level. (For example, there will be the beach level, and the dungeon level that are currently in one map). I would also suggest expanding the dungeon and the beach a bit more.

(edit) Are you also doing Diablo's item system, where each type of monster in certain difficulty have 0.xxxxxx percent of dropping, and harder ones have a greater chance?
 
Aye :) The plan is to create several maps, all with their own unique theme :) I cant really expand the current map any further though, as im already close to being maxed out on the doodad limit xD If I add any more theres gonna be soem major lag :D

As for the PvP, I was thinking it could be more like WoW in that respect :) Where players can do various scenarious like capture the flag, battlegrounds or just some simple 1 v 1 - 6 v 6 arena's :D

nothings written in stone yet though :) These are just a few ideas :D
 
That's what I meant. Seperate the two into two different maps. And if you need to place more doodads, I would suggest using JASS to do so. Or, if you really need to, use World Editor Unlimited ONLY, I repeat, ONLY to place doodads, also make sure to make backups before.
 
I would swear that was a actuall screenshoot from Diablo III, until i saw the poitions in the inventory xD

This is a nice inventory
I'm currently working on an inventory like this 1, but more complex.

The inventory is on its 70%, I've been coding it since November
the image shows 50% of what it has.
It will have attachments, a model in the black zone and an item-info square when u drag the mouse to an item, also 8 potion slots (which i can reduce if u want)
Maybe we can do something together :p
