Good word! I had to look it up. After not finding anything cool out of ancient greece, I settled on this image.

there are many different versions of an archon; holy archon, elemental archon(s), starcraft archon.. xxd but they all share that.. hmm.. might? and perhaps short fuse

oh and, in 'Darksiders 2' game you fight an archon as one boss c: hope i didn't spoil too much of the game

eh, I won't play it. I don't have time. I liked the sculptures of the ancient greek Archons. They were public officials / teachers.

Archon -> derived from Greek "archein", 'to rule'.

I'm not sure I've ever associated "archon" with "temper". If anything, I view them as serene & detached, yet powerful and vengeful; like Dr. Manhattan from the Watchmen. Beings on an entirely separate plane of existence, that condescend to ours.

I think you're right for the most part. But when they get angry, I think its in a flash of righteous vengeance.
