Team color is finicky it is there sometimes and not at others.
Team color is a special case of material layers, the texture first must have an alpha channel of some kind, then the first layer in the material should be whats called "teamglow00" which is the solid sqaure of color and this layer should be labled either "blend" or "addative"
the second layer in the same material should have your texture youre using on the model its self, with the lable of "transparent" or "none"
The cut scene editor doesnt show team color, sometimes. The most accurate way to judge team color is ingame
