Listen to a special audio message from Bill Roper to the Hive Workshop community (Bill is a former Vice President of Blizzard Entertainment, Producer, Designer, Musician, Voice Actor) 🔗Click here to hear his message!
Here, the hero mainly uses two of his passives: Martial Prowess - Gives a chance to block an incoming Melee attack and then deal Attack Damge and Stun the attacker Shadow Mastery - Gives a chance to perform an additional attack when dealing Attack Damage
And though two of these effects are pretty simple, it looks spectacular when the hero is thrown into the action!
I'm thinking I should record more of these gifs
Or should I post more interesting races? Or is it better to finish the first few ones to add them to the first playable version? Or maybe I should just start working on the campaign?
Damn, there's so much to do
@deepstrasz I do feel like making more races; I have about 10 new ones ready to be screenshotted and posted, but I don't feel like it's giving me any progress
None of them will be playable untill I finish the custom Resource, Building, and Capture Point systems, and after that, each race must be also given its abilities, researches and technology (which is more triggers to write)
I think the sanest thing to do would be to pick a few factions and to start making a campaign with them; Everything else will be developed along the way
@Alxen345 Thanks!
That shadow-clone-thingie is a common theme shared among most dark elven units
They can even share this with other races via a buff, which can greatly beneift those units who have powerful Attack effects such us Crit, Cleave, and etc
