I know some moders managed to make doodads transparent when ever a unit is behind it. You should explore that for all the regions you have a massive object blocking the view.

@Mr.Goblin Thanks for the suggestion, I have actually been looking into it for the biggest doodads, but I'm no modeller unfortunately
