The difference between rapier and sabre is that rapier fighter focusing mostly to the thrust and usually they taking the oppotunity to grappling the sword thats why the fencer place their hand side to their face either on the chest level...while the sabre dont do that... cuz most to the cut and risky to do preform grappling on it...
