The leaves seem to be casting shadows on underlying bunches as they sway, however there is no shadow on the ground. Very neat! How did you create this effect?
I made the textures, taking photographed images from Textures.com and editing them a bit to fit my needs ( For example combining different leaf textures and sharpening the images and so forth ).

This tree consists of around 30 different objects. Each model can consist between 30-500 faces and up to 1000 vertices. Leaves take up majority of the object count (around 60-70%). I'd say a finalized tree (without roots) would consist of around 3000 polygons.
