This program will generate text colorcodes for Warcraft 3. You have access to all 16,000,000 colors (Sliderbars or 60+ Presets), 5 kinds of blends (Solid, Blend, Double-Inverted Blend, Full Spectrum Blend, Random Blend), you can save your colors as "Themes" (Up to 150), you can remove colorcodes with a feature called "Reverse Translation", and it also doubles as a HTML colorcode generator.

The new version also includes an extra coloring program called Firefly.

Can you possibly port it to the Macintosh? I'm sure that lots of mac users would be very greatful (Myself included).
 
CHAOS SPECTRUM FULL FEATURE LIST :

Colors :
-Access to all 16,000,000 colors
-You can type them in
-You can use the sliderbars
-You can use one of the 60+ preset colors
-Or you can use one of your custom themes

Themes :
-Automatically loads on startup
-Just point and click to use one
-You can save up to 150, all with custom names

Blends :

-Automatically finds spaces and doesn't color them
-You can color by word or letter

My app is mostly only for MAC I made it coplitable for pc because everyone told me to, well it did never be as good as it was on the mac, but it worked. Later on version 2.0 I made the .zip file on my PC that wasn't so good... It made it looks like a virus. Therefor I made the 2.5 .zip file on the mac again, as I did with the very first version. So it isn't any viruses in 2.6 (or 2.5). For now it isn't even downloadable from here because... You could only download the 2.0 version for pc. The 2.6 version will proboably be avaible soon, and it won't have any freakin fake viruses. And thats it, good luck with your app.

I just hate people that say MAC sux and that they are a copy or just another version of windows, cus they have no Idea what they are talking about. They are just snowed in pc lamers with no clue. Apple is a fast growing Computer and Technology Company that produces os that is far more advanced than window. Say what you want about this, but I have large experiance in both the windows OS and MAC OS-X and I'm only saying what I think, and what my experiance tells me.
 
Well i tried out your colormanager... and i'm not sure where this talk of viruses came from, as the app worked fine on my computer. Its well done, especially for a port, but you gotta admit i have some features that yours doesn't. And personally, i think mine is a little more user friendly...
 
This program is the best warcraft 3 colouring program i have ever seen despite what Chaos-Hunter seems to think about it. Very well done, especially the rainbow text :D. 5/5
 
umm wont let me edit colors
somthin bout target folder to store settings but when i select folder it wont recognixe and still wants me to pick one. wont let me continue to editor.

well the problem is probably your comp's settings or something... i don't know thats kinda strange. But if you can't find a way to make it work... you will have about a half a second chance to hit the button before it realizes the folder isn't set. From then on it will function properly, but without a few features.

I will probably add a skip key in the next version, just in case somebody else has this problem.
 
This tool is great! I can finaly get colors (and blend them) without them being backwards. (Color Template) I can tell you put much work into this and you are granted my approval. But, one thing... make it for Mac.

2 Questions... How do you make rainbow colors and how do you put it for your name for wc3? it always say invalid characters...

Why do u need this for mac? Try colormanager its for mac. I guess I have one problem though i should warn u about colormanager the colored text is not colored on bNet and many other things im still trying to figure that @#$()#*$@ out…

Hi im new to making skins and models and i was thinking if this would be good to use :D .
 
After some recent questions, i would like to remind everyone that you CANNOT color your B-Net name anymore. Blizzard has blocked the characters needed to do this.

And there also seems to be some buzz about viruses. As you can see, this program has been up for nearly a year. If it does in fact contain a virus now, that would be an issue on the website side of things.
 
You can't use HTML tags to color text in a forum post. This is done as a security reason in case someone wants to inject malicous HTML or javascript.
 
this is one of the best coloring mods i have seen, it doesnt have virus when i downloaded it. its great!
 
I must point out to everyone downloading this file, that my Anti Virus program finds a trojan on ChaosSpectrum 1.1.exe

Virus: Backdoor.Generic.45594.
Scanner: Bitdefender

I do not know how such a virus was able to get here, but I think it should be analysed, since either the author decided to put some trojans in people's PCs, or the site has been hacked, and the virus planted.

It's probably a false positive. They happen, you know.

I think this program is good and useful, and NOT a virus.
