That's called replacing words, not grammar nazi or vocabulary nazi. If I were to be a grammar nazi and vocabulary nazi on your "corrected" version I would make this:
"Only through the blood of our enemies may we earn our sputum"
There was a correction, he originally written it as:
"Only through the bloody of our enemies do we earn our salvation!"
And I corrected him to:
"Only through the blood of our enemies do we earn our saliva!"
