Yeah, I dislike the ground as well. It should be greener, it would make the hut look nicer and more shamanistic. Have you tried painting the ends of the flower sticks in green, to give the illusion of the shrubs being alive?

I had to make the ground fit many tilesets. Grass doesn't work in, for example, Outland or Northrend maps.
But if you need another kind of ground texture, everybody who wants to has my permission to change the ground texture. And if you need it for some project you can ask me and I'll make a version with a different ground texture.

Hm... you do have a good point, however a skin with grass, would be usefull for those making Nagrand or other Outland locations.
