7 Blademasters 1.34c

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
-- This is an old map I've improved a bit to make it funnier and more interesting to play --

Description : Every player has a blademaster and the whole team have to reach the end of the game to win. Grom Hellscream musn't die. You'll be helped with your powers, items and of course your teamplay.

Have fun & report everything you want.

Downloading, a better description woudlnt be bad.

There is honestly nothing wrong with this description. Sure, screenshots might be suggested, but I like this description because it's short but tells you everything you need to know. Like seriously, what more do you need to know than the goal of the game and the credits? Not everything has to be pretty, you know ;)

Changes weren't very many or very good (in my own opinion), simply because the map was already working good before. You made it easier though which would be good for noobs but boring for the pros.

Changes are quoted in the quests, you can check it.
Mainly, I added several systems (ex: leavers) that really improve the gameplay, there's a sharing gold system, a gold support for the healer...
Also, I've done some changes on the spells (especially for balancing) and I even added spells like Omnislash or yet the fact that each blademaster owns an unique aura.
Finally I changed some creep's spots on the map and added a fight after the first "round".
My next versions will certainly be focused on items because at the moment there are kinda basic and not very useful.

EDIT : I need more feedback/knowledge to improve the end of the map.

This made all players have about 3k gold dude. That's a lot for this game.

A gold support for the healer.
How does it work? If the healer gets gold each time he heals it is a bad system. Imho if you want the game to be balanced when it comes to bounty then I suggest you share all bounty among the the team. Some unit could have a skill which passively gives bonus bounty.

First point : No, it depends of the number of players in-game. If you play alone, you'll get 3k. You can check the system under the World Editor, the map is not protected.

Second point : Why do you think it's a bad system ? The healer doesn't touch a creep in the game, he's the only one to have healing spells. As he's supposed to always heal his allies, he can buy support items for exemple at the same time (also healing spells are function of levels).

Third point : Yeah I already noticed it, hmm i'll see if it really causes problems.

EDIT : Description improved. Oh and I forgot the main point who made me want to edit this map -> I wanted to add custom hotkeys like in DotA (here it's Q,S,D,F) because it was very hard for the healer to cast all his spells in a small amount of time, so I've decided to add a full support for every hero. ;)

Because the healer can damage the ally and heal him (or heal every time his hp goes down by any amount) and that'll give the healer lots of money if abused.

Don't worry, I think this system is balanced enough. Else you made a point, it can be abused but I'd never thought that some people will abuse by using this way xD I'll fix it in the next version.

Add some screenshots to attract those who are new to the map since the description is a bit less informative about the maps content. You could also list each heroes and their role in the map and what skills they have at their disposal. Also if anyone hasn't mentioned, did you get proper permission from the original author to edit this map?

Yeah, I'll see what can I do.
No I didn't get the permission, I'm making stuff for fun and for people so I don't really care about it.

The hotkey "S" its the hotkey to the action "Stop"
What do you want to explain ? The "S" hotkey performs well for a spell and I'm not sure that the "Stop" action is very useful here.

Prefer to change anything that hinders the original hotkeys for movement in wc3 to something like Q,W,E,R or use another letter in its name as a hotkey.

Permission
You must have permission to use any source contained in your resource.

Originality
Resources should be unique. Largely similar resources, such as icons that are hue-adjusted version of each other, simple reskins that don't change the shape of the model, or maps that are effectively clones of each other, such as most LOAP and Footman Wars maps, may be rejected.

Ok lightbolt, I didn't check that. hmm Q,S,D,F is easier but if I get many feedback , I may review my opinion.
30.12.2010 : Fixed an important error from me, the green blademaster was level 11 at the beginning. Please play the fixed version.

Oh...ok, I'm french so I've an "AZERTY" keyboard, it's not same. And now I see why you all want this "QWER" configuration.

lmao nice keyboard setup, the French always wants to be different :p In that case I can only tell you that there are a lot more people using the QWERTY so I guess it's up to you, limit the gameplay to French players or let it be global.

That is so stupid having a different keyboard setup but most of us use qwerty if you wanna to make MOST of ppl satisfied you gotta change it to QWER

It's not stupid, it's just a habit.
What if someone used a (programming) Dvorak keyboard because it's basically the easiest keyboard layout and uses that layout as a base for spells etc?
The spell hotkeys would be OEUI, nearly impossible on a qwerty-keyboard.
Would it also be stupid? Keep in mind that dvorak is (supposed to be) easier than qwerty...

And by experience I know that azerty is a lot easier for French, since I'm from Belgium myself and here we also use azerty (I'm an exception because I write more English than any other language on my PC).
I don't know if you all have this, but if I press SHIFT + ALT, my keyboard auto-switches to azerty (this is a standard feature on my PC, but that's probably because my PC still comes from Belgium).

The only thing I want to say about spell hotkeys is that if you just don't override any of the standard hotkeys (A, S, M, H, P) it should be okay.
