Strange message.
Hi, I need help. I tried to give +rep for a user, but there came this message:
"You must spread some reputation around before giving it to (account name) again."
What is this and why I can't give +rep?

It's when you give rep to the same user in a short period or time (or maybe twice in a row or something? I don't remember).

To stop people from repwhoring.

Code Lyoko, this occurs when you have previously given a member reputation point(s) recently, I think it is 5 (?) people you need to spread reputation too before you can give reputation to the same user once again.

They tell you the truth. To stop with unessary rep spam, you must give rep to other users before you can re rep someone. Policy. It sucks. Just like you need 10 rep to actually give anything when you spread rep.
