resolution problems (solved)

Hi!
I downloaded warcraft 3 classic (latest version).
And I want full hd resolution. If I apply full hd (1920*1080@60) on my full hd monitor I have a space on edges. And if I turned to minimum resolution the screen is too stretched.
it is not very visible in the picture, but at the lowest resolution the screen is stretched
*in game is full hd resolution alright, withou edges
Is there some trick to fix this?

First off all, you'd assume that your game version is 1.31.1.12164, which is the very latest version of Classic (not Reforged)?

The blank spaces on the edge you said in question is a black sides of the borders you seen on the main menu.
It's basically a new feature that was introduced in 1.29.2 to ensure that the game will be playable at Widescreen resolution (16:9) without stretching.
Even though you have a correct 16:9 resolution during the game session (with an unused bars), the in-game menu is always set to 4:3. As such, you might notice the black sides of the borders here.

There's nothing you can do about the black sides of the borders, but it's still possible to remove the unused bars in game session. Just to remember, if you attempt to remove the unused bars in game session by using this trick, you will run into a weird problem, where you can see nothing, but the black sides of the borders (again) that block the 3D World (sometimes it will be the green boxes), unless you used the 1.31 (Confirmed by Retera).

Thanks. Yes it is the latest version on wc3 classic(1.31.1.12164) Sorry for that question. I did not know about that feature. So far I had warcraft III classic on version 1.26.0.6401 with cz dubbing. And I decided to upgrade to latest with english dubbing because on Hive is reccomended: the maps should work with the latest version of Warcraft classic or reforged.
