I apply the same thing to the warcraft model so if 99% you always see like uther's hammer, his head and the cape then you can go ham on detail. Otherwise you can go less somewhere else and would not affect you much.

I have some curiousity about how common the weapon in the model section, sure you can argue sword, hammer and firearm in here but for this profile post, I'm looking for uncommon kind here.

I start with Pitchfork, logically this technically isn't a weapon but rather a farmer tool, mostly for moving hay. But pitchfork is like what if spear have triple the fun. Even devil usually holding a pitchfork in their depletion.

Blowgun is also deserve a mention here, heavily depleted in tribal theme and sometimes joke on vietcong.

Look, no matter how delusional you are, you can't turn away the idea of turning totem into freaking mortar was genius concept. The totem has always been what dragging the model about concep is how would you handle it. So seeing a skin make use of the totem is such a wow moment that I couldn't see that coming. The tauren itself also pack with personality with the goggle, clothing and cool axe design. Such a fun skin showing hueter has a good taste on execution.

Most of the time about Druid of the Talon is that you would do something special about the hood, the staff and the beard. Turning him into straght on human dumbledore wizard was a masterpiece work that I cannot recreate a better one. Especially given this one was a casual skin and shown how much a charm in comparison. Again, betsy rating don't take time and resources in account (which still a controversial) but for me, this is just shown how much I love about casual works. You were never go to true limit because you geniuely believe to leave a flaw that make you a happy person. That's the beauty of Recommendation Rating.

• The texture MUST be a texture for the OG warcraft model, meaning no custom.
• 2 WIPS required. Also your texture must be made by YOU.

The Gift:

• This challenge can be accepted anytime.
• You can submit it more than once.
• Teamcolor is taken out of equalation but beware of transparency.
• Backups are allowed, any program use for convert blp is completely allowed.

The Benefit:

• As long your work is approved, A seat in MS Hall Of Famer. (if possible, I would make a thread dedicated to that.)
• Doing this challenge alone mean your skill is best in you and not the tool.

Pretty much warcraft poster child of unit as they are literally everywhere. It's probably one of the easiest yet expected model to work with and i'm rarely touching it for a concept because i'm a sucker for monster model. Hell, even my friend tend to be a footman (especially you Betsy).

We will never make a 16 footmen bundle because no.

Thumbnail.

I'm not surprised when the shady boi and the prince boi decide to upgrade their thumbnail if I still laugh the fact Yaser copy his homework. . Sometimes I change it for the sake of the age and assisting you in a concept.

Don't get me wrong, I like to do straight in World Editor thumbnail here because you would view them in cinematic. Orcish Avenger Ship is a recent example, anything after Kodo Jockey using the mono background and pose thumbnail formula. Any updated work is also apply to that or using regular WE thumbnail.

But I'm looking foward to see what thumbnail I can made because I can tease that fact these boi playing around those thumbnail while look stylish, look like something straight out of powerpoint. Then again, I make cinematic with a powerpoint before (Sunweaver Genesaur).

To this day, I have no idea where is Naze? What happen to my leaning tower of doodad? Naze is like a middle man between Mr. Goblin and Heinvers of personality and this is why I told in the past that Fred is not my first ent friend here. Although in Freddy case, he is straight and Naze is curved.

Common Cold, Yes everyone hate this. No matter how invincible you are, common cold catch you like a stray cat see any human. Still, this is the dampy weather and if you catch it now, you probably not gotta get caught one in a distant future. So it's mostly a spa for your immune system.

My condolences to the family of the victim in the capital apartment that took (currently) 56 victims. Backpain. Hive is not suppose to give you backpain, unless you are Ralle. Okay, I got backpain from trying to push up like 5 and I got that happened. His 200 wpm cannot repair my back that easily and i'm more into the fact of rubbing my own chest when I eat something nasty. Sound a bit gross but that's probably the saving grace to help you get over picky food.

The point is there is always a gross thing in your guts and you have to either keep digest it or puke it out because instinct kick in. When I make anything really, I don't want to both working and drinking alcohol. No, no, i'm a cider guy and I'm only need one bottle. Yeah, I get sensitive with roomlight and wheezy around but i'm trying not to get anyone nearby me hurt so whenever i feel like i need to be intoxicated, lock yourself in room probably the best choice and I manage to maintain myself.

So I learn my lesson, drink cider when i'm not working xd.

Model Animatioin.

Yeah, it's weird for the skin guy talk about the model stuff but here's a point, the animation can help me derive an idea of concepts here. Take Zombie model for example, yeah sure the animation feel slacked here but the attack animation can sell the martial art fighter as he take a bit of force and hard swing. This is followed by a posture and a surprisingly menacing walk animation.

I know certain time warcraft would recycle their animation and I have little to talk about but usually when they make for a that unit and take to another one, there is a good chance the borrowed unit benefit the animation better than the original.

I give you another example: Ghoul animation is intended as it be but you can turn ghoul into a robot. Not only make the death animation make more sense (which make me wonder about other ghoul skins btw), You can turn this into a degenerate cyborg who would turn aganist their creator and that idea would sell like hot cake.

It's a difficult topic but it give insight that any element can turn into an idea.

There is a time where the idea is so great yet my skill is limited, sometimes I trade my health to put more effort around it. Even the skin that I released can still be adjusted to be a stable resource that can age and help the map maker. I have to learn a lot from being a crybaby and egotistical to actually accept the passion.

Yes, I have to come clean with the Moy scenario. I can't blame him for the mental damage, I can't blame Betsy for the kindle that start the fire. And most importantly I can't blame archie for why I got obsessed for admiration. I'm probably got diagnose for hundred kind of mental illness but that's freudian execuse and that's no excuse. I can understand the former doesn't want to forgave me and yes, I don't deserve it and even if I do, I'm not gotta be free. It's like a broken vase that broken then glued it back but never in good condition, eventually the glue get old and it's start cracking. At least that's how i know about vase and texturing in Hive.

Take Descend for example, this is probably the only resource get to be in someone famous map and lemme tell you, that's a biggest honor I ever get and not only that, he grab the ogre to be a boss. That's fire in my heart and I will smile the heck out of my soul when encounter it.

I will remember the fact my skin was in someone map and I just tear in my eye when I got the first usage. I'm only hoping that my works will spread around the usage. I don't care how smol or how big your map is, I see my child I will be there for them.

Alright back to texture talk here, If I must use 512 ratio, I want that thing to be special because I geniunely would work hard to stand out hence it's a treat and a challenge. Sometimes the wrap is too hard that make me would budge for upscale reasoning, but this wasn't really the main problem when it happen. My problem is my idea can be unstable that it doesn't cooperate when working with it. (2/3)

Right, after years of doing skins, it's finally the time to reveal a secret. The reason I aganist upscaling was for style reasoning.

Think for a second, I geninuely love Warcraft 3 asthestic that HD-fying feel wrong. My style is cartoonish but for a right reason to do so hence it's not common for me to do textures in 512 above. Sometimes I feel the ratio can be unnecessary and I am in respect to my fellow limit 8mb guy.

Doing thing in 512 is actually quite a demanding thing, I gotta tell you this. I know the fact no matter how I upscaled it, you would view the same as it 256 because gameplay is king. Those rating is meaningless because if your texture help the map better in their direction, you got yourself a fat win here. (part 1/3)

It's nearly 6 pm overhere and I'm sitting here rubbing seasoning in meat. No no, not that "meat", the actual edible meat for the sake prep for the family and put in the oven.
