    What is a race mechanic?
    As the name suggests, race mechanic defines a mechanic specifically made for a particular race.
    For the Second Books of Arkain, every race will receive at least one race mechanic to make the race more unique compared to the others.
    They also increase the replayability of the campaigns since they are coupled with gameplay choices.

    What is Undying Craft?
    The Undead have not only collected corpses, they have also collected knowledge and items of immense power. They are not only warriors and monstrous abominations, they also have smiths, alchemists and other creators of different items, some of them never even going past the first creation plans!
    Some of those now undead masters of their craft have still retained enough of their past knowledge - or gathered even more of it - to be able creating new useful items and artifacts for their undead masters.

    How do they work ingame?
    In every mission that allows you to build a base, you will be able to "craft" your own items. You will be able to improve them, giving them even more power. You might manage to create powerful artifacts that the world has never seen before.
    Each of your heroes will have unique items that can either be improved or created by you. The more time and resources you invest into your heroes, the more powerful they will become.

    When will they be included?
    Undying Craft will be available right at the very beginning of the Second Undead Book!

    This looks like a very cool mechanic, though it sounds a bit overpowered.
    If you can really create never before see artifacts of great power, then doing something like limiting them to 1 crafted artefact per hero, will be pretty much mandatory, else each chapter will be a breeze.
    Also will past choices influence the power of some artifacts, and will there be optional quests that give us the chance to make them even more powerful?

    Of course some artifacts, especially the unique ones, will be, well, unique and limited. You cannot have three versions of a one-of-a-kind sword, of course.

    Probably not.

    Maybe, there are some ideas regarding that.

    Well...
    Prety sure SOB's epilogue mentioned Aridon having his bony fingers deep inside the Dwarven Pie, so maybe not happening... At least not without a colossal bonus
