Introduction To The Ruling Powers
By Harper

The Seven Stars upon the mountain of old
Shining bright save one, destined to fall
Upon its roof the Mightiest stood very tall
His will across entirety always unfold

His eyes were ever watchful from above
Thither lived the Mightiest among the rest
The Aldari in their grace he most loved
In all times he wished for them the best

The Star had fallen then darkness fell
In Aia, the valiant heroes fell
His shadows ever creeping to many
More dying and weeping in that dark day

CONCERNING THE ENEMY:
There was the Great Evil whose name was unspoken in the ancient history. Great was his power for evil in ancient times & very terrible were his servants beyond words to describe & greatest among them was Tiel-Selvha, the servant of the One. In the tongues of Anveras he was named Tiel-Nurgol. He rose greatly in power after the fall of Bragollagh the city of old in Anvalas west of Noldoli upon Teres Therum. The Anvalas was always against him for he seek to rule thither. He came when his evils cannot be contained & his might unmatched and Anvalas fell in his hands through the cunning works of his servant Selvha, so begun the dark age. The war of Tiel-Nurgol, w/c was later called Tiel-Anurgol first broke in the first age during the reign of Eredus as king of Anvalas.

CONCERNING THE MOURDS & GUINTA:

High in the mountains, deep w/n the forests
Rocks never withered, roots were undying
The mountains spoke and forests sung
Their words not hearkened and tune unheard

Slow they were to speak but deep were their voices
Wind is blowing and water is flowing
Time is passing yet they were undying
Ancients they were and they did not age

The Aldari were first among the walker
Upon Teres-Therum their feet were burrowed
In Entili forest their roots were rooted
Rocks never withered, roots were forever young

(Coming Soon)
OF ANVALAS & PHELUARA
OF MERTHA OR MIRTHEL AS GIFTS
OF THE FALL OF TIEL-NURGOL
THE ORDER OF THE VESTA

Very nicely done. Reading your poem makes me want to go re-read the Silmarillion.

For some reason it reminds me of the battle between Finrod Felagund and Sauron...

"He chanted a song of wizardry,
Of piercing, opening, of treachery,
Revealing, uncovering, betraying.
Then sudden Felagund there swaying,
Sang in answer a song of staying,
Resisting, battling against power,
Of secrets kept, strength like a tower,
And trust unbroken, freedom, escape;
Of changing and of shifting shape,
Of snares eluded, broken traps,
The prison opening, the chain that snaps.

Backwards and forwards swayed their song.
Reeling and foundering, as ever more strong
The chanting swelled, Felagund fought,
And all the magic and might he brought
Of Elvenesse into his words.
Softly in the gloom they heard the birds
Singing afar in Nargothrond,
The sighing of the Sea beyond,
Beyond the Western shores on sand,
On sand of pearls in Elvenland.

Then the gloom gathered; darkness growing
In Valinor, the red blood flowing
Beside the Sea, where the Noldor slew
The Foamriders, and stealing drew
Their white ships with their white sails
From lamplit havens. The wind wails,
The wolf howls. The ravens flee.
The ice mutters in the mouths of the Sea.
The captives sad in Angbad mourn.
Thunder rumbles, the fires burn-
And Finrod fell before the throne."

-Of Beren and Luthien, Quenta Silmarillion, The Silmarillion. Written by J.R.R. Tolkien

If you're interested in this kind of thing, I suggest you go and read the Silmarillion. Though if I had to guess, I'd say harper has already read it...

whats the silmiraliion, is that another story on LOTR or just inside acts about it.

If im not mistaken the setting is before the LOTR though some characters in the Silmarillon appears in the LOTR like Galadriel & Elrond. there u can find the story concerning the silmarils, of Morgoth the lord of Sauron, & ungoliath who will remind you of shelob... & many more!

Just willing to take the part as destructible doodad in ur next movie...

The Silmarillion is the history of the world of Arda(where Middle-Earth is) since before its creation. It sets the stage for The Hobbit and the LOTR series. It's got lots of interesting stuff in it. If you've read or seen the movies and want to learn more, I suggest you read it.
