Shadow Model

Anybody have a shadow model there?

I remember seeing one in the UTM but when I look at all the available doodads in my UTM, it doesn't seem to be there.

Can someone give me a copy?

It looks like this but I am fine with anything that could darken a doodad model ingame and in the World Editor.

For a reason of darkening doodads both in WE and In-game? You could just change their tinting color to something lower like from 255,255,255 to 120,120,120... it will make the doodad darker in some ways.

I know that but I'm going to create my own shadows and there are times that the terrain should be included in the process so that method isn't going to achieve it.

Just tried the black glow. It isn't really attractive to look at and it's pitch black.

I need something that's a would work just like a shadow. :/

Or you could make a model-less unit that has flyer shadow.

But then again dragging it around would be real hard.

Well, you could try projecting a shadow image via triggers, but it's going to be visible in-game only, and will require you too Test Map and fix the numbers many times before you get it right.

Or you could take Black Glow and reduce its alpha.

Tried that out and it looked pretty nice actually. Cool. Though it does not look good as using the ingame shadow, it still produces a pretty swell effect. ^^
