Pwer of corruption does not open

I need help with a cool map, made by someone else.
the problem is that it has a couple of bugs that i could work on/ improve for my own or others sake.
But once i try and open the map in world edit, it just doesnt open.
it says "error- unit data missing or invalid" what on earth should i do?

This means it's corrupted, deliberately I believe as a form of protection.

Do you have permission from the Creator to edit this map?

Yea it's probably protected. You should try reaching out to Moyack here, on discord or his site. I'm interested too, I would like to port it to bigger maps. I might contact him eventually for this.
