Plague 1 : The East
Wrapping Up the Map
It's been a long journey coming back to this map, from a rework of most factions and undead spawning, to completely remade bosses and performance issues; but the time has come to finally wrap up development on Plague 1 : The East.
Outlined here is the rough schedule for content releases.
Version 2.5 - The Faction Update
This update will add the long awaited revamped Defense Mastery faction back to the map, as well as add a slew of new units, structures, and abilities to existing factions.
Version 2.75 - The Undead Base Update
This update will focus on revamping the way undead spawn; adding new mechanics and defenses to the main hive mind as well as the lesser hive. In addition to this, bases will now be tracked and there will be unexpected ways in which bases can now appear on the map. Finally, a new Undead event, the Dead City, will now appear along with a returning Bugs Nest event.
Version 2.85 - The Hero Update
The hero update will resolve issues with heroes, useless or underused abilities will be revamped, new items will be added along with a new vendor. Other changes here will be QoL or systems focused such as a multiboard displaying boss health, or an under the hood save/load system for unlocking/locking progress. Otherwise, events will start being added to flesh out the world some more.
Version 3.0 - Content Completion
The final planned update regarding content; the one thing I will mention will be a new and highly detailed Ironstead castle meant for epic holdouts. A tutorial will also be added to the map; or at least some beginner detection. The narrative will also return.. along with some hidden events which are better left unsaid.
