I'm interested in learning script writing. I'm looking for tutorials on basic map making that i can read through. I can't seem to find any complete organized material about the basics of map-making. If there are any, could someone direct me to it? I

From my understanding, map making consists of scripting, modeling etc. These are only isolated topics of map making, is there something like map-making for dummies?

even in the Trigger (GUI) Editor Tutorials, they're mostly intermediate to advance stuff. how did you guys learn the basics?
