Kimberly: Sorry, but I can only see hue/colour changes, these do not qualify as freehand content, freehand content must be manually drawn with the brush tool. Skins require at least 75% freehand. rejected.

You have just tell the truth that you have alpha the channels. It will be rejected.The texture must be 75% free-hand to be approved you can make a thread in the texturing forum for improving the skin.

Aren't alpha channels an exception to the 'free-hand rule'?

not at all... freehand is paintbrush, dodge and burn, along with any of the other incredibly simple tools. this... is not freehand in the least.
