Nabzo... have you tried making a map and just placing the charactors where you want them? move the screen around til its perfect enough for you and "print screen"... then go into a pic editing tool (paint if you dont have better) and hit ctrl-v. this will paste the picture into it for you.
once the picture is in the editor, cut off the windows sections, and everything else that you dont want it to show.
once you get it how you like, follow THIS tutorial.
also recommended if you wanna do this put some trees or something fun in the background/sideground.
