Is there a way to equip weapons

I would like to know if there is a way to equip a dowloaded weapon with a downloaded unit for eg i got the zone marine (no wep) and i downloaded a dow bolter i would just like to know a way to give the marine the weapon

you could give the unit a default active ability of Item Armor Bonus (+1)
change the attachment strings of Item Armor Bonus (+1) to "Hand, Left" or "Hand, Right"
and set the stat bonus for Item Armor Bonus (+1) so it does nothing

this will not take up a button on the units interface
