Welcome to the Hive. :)
If you would like to learn about modelling, I recommend you view the Tutorials section first, particularly on the area of 3D-modelling, if that's what you're interested in.

Looking for an appropriate software to begin your modelling venture? Here are some good threads to have a look at.

I strongly suggest you read the Rules & Regulations section first before you begin to simply posting about in the forums. Just a few quick rules you should know:
  • Do not flame/troll (Make other people mad or start fights). Always respect those around you.
  • English is widely used here. If it is not your first language, then please ask or apologize. Do not post in foreign languages in public threads, although you can do that in personal conversations.
  • Always keep your posts neat! They're easier to read and softer on the eyes. If you'd like to organize/beautify your posts, take a look at the BB-Code List.
  • Please do not request for reputation (rep). That's just plain rude.
  • And do not post for the sake of increasing your post count. It counts as spam or otherwise and you will receive a warning or infraction if you do so. Always keep your posts helpful or at the very least, neat.
  • Share! Don't be stingy. If you've any work that you've done before, just upload it for people to see and criticize! Warning: Your work may be received poorly by others. But never lose your temper, just keep on improving.
  • Ask! We've got moderators for a reason. Just PM (Private Message) them your question. You can also ask non-moderators for help as well.

Welcome and enjoy your stay at the Hive!
