i need some help wiht a spell

someone can help me to make mi own spells, i want create my own selfdestruction where my hero destroyhimself but take wiht you an army it will be the best magic but i cant do it
 
Use the sappers's AoE on death. In the object editor, right click and select "New Custom Ability", then change the selector to units, and near the top you'll find AoE apon death (sapper).
 
OK here is my idea:

First create a custom unit & do the ff:
1. name it CU
2. give him a modified damage upon death ability (you can find it somewhere in neutral>special)
3. set CU's hitpoint regeneration rate to -25 (just copy the phoenix's regen rate & paste it)
4. Make dummy spell ex: modified Taunt

Now for the trigger:

Sayonnara:
E: a unit cast an ability
C: unit type of casting unit =(your hero) & ability being cast=dummy spell
A:
create 1 CU at the position for player XX ..etc..
hide last created unit (not sure w/ this)
kill casting unit
----------
Final opinion: when CU will die it will explode, enemy units around your hero will die so long as you will increase the damage upon death effect. Give CU a low hitpoints.
