Ok i started this new map. I went devoted since i had 8 hours in school to think about it. I started the triggers and the ideas i had recquired me to use some complicated triggers...this is my second map. Im not ready for these sort of triggers but the map ideas may not last long. Could someone check it out for me and give me some advice? The terrain is basic but its a basic area. What i plan to happen is two nations are warring for the nile river in their area. In order to win you have to have control of both the left and right areas. I have really thought out this map. So far i have it that if the basic building unit of either team enters the circle of power it starts a timer. Once the timer ends on the scoreboard it should show that team 1 has control of the waterfall pass (left, near water) or the mountain pass (right, near mountains) After 2 minutes of having an area it is considered under your control. The other team can steal it back. For this all i think i need to do is to create a trigger saying that if another team gets it the first team loses control (help here too)

What i need help on
Scoreboard
Timer affecting score board
Timer
losing a pass
Also i can do with suggestions. Im new and a bit handicapped at making WC3 maps.

Spiritriser XD:grin:

Yeah, just try to learn.

And read some terraining tutorials too.
This one is good. It can really teach you how to do simple things and what to avoid.
This is a sample screenshot from a map I did in 1 day.

They are not great but something and I've read just 2 terraining tutorials. Just try to follow them.

About triggers: They are quite easy (at least GUI).

1) make 2 rectangles over the 1st and 2nd areas you want to check for units entering
2) Make 2 triggers for each.
Example:I attach a sample map.
